Hannah Lloyd, inSOC Inc. VP of Channel Sales, has been named one of the top 25 women in tech 2020, according to PCR. The industry magazine has recognized Lloyd for her innovative sales, marketing, and PR work.
The ranking celebrates the top 25 women in tech, because of their expansive contributions to the industry.
According to “PCR’s Top 25 Women in Tech 2020”, Lloyd’s dedication and volunteer work helped catapult her to the top of the industry. “As a young woman in the tech sector, Hannah Lloyd has really stepped up to the mark to share her knowledge and expertise through very active participation in the UK community where she volunteers her time. She is also a well-known and respected individual within the global channel markets, working to on-board and support channel partners across the world.”
In addition to winning the CompTIA Channel Changer award in 2018, Lloyd has served on the CompTIA UK Executive Council since 2017 and has acted as Vice Chair since 2019.
According to PCR, Lloyd has “hosted Community meetings as well as taken part in sessions and is always a willing volunteer. Hannah has an incredible knowledge of channel sales and growth strategies, helping inSOC become established as a new company. Hannah is a strong advocate for women in tech demonstrated through her attendance at diversity events and putting herself forward but also by just being who she is.”
Lloyd said of the honour,
“I am thrilled to be recognised amongst some of the most respected and talented women in the Tech industry in the UK. I have worked closely with a number of the others showcased and I can safely say that their support and guidance has aided me in continuing to strive, improve and also given me great opportunities to find new areas to volunteer within the community.
Women supporting women is very important, and as a young woman in the channel, I hope that this recognition also helps other girls and women to see that it is not only an industry where you can succeed but you can also be hugely passionate about it too”.
