inSOC VP Channel Sales Hannah Lloyd Wins CompTIA Member of the Year

We are very excited to learn that our very own Hannah Lloyd, Vice President of Channel Sales at inSOC, has won the prestigious CompTIA Member of the Year award for 2021. She’s the sixth technology industry leader to receive this award, alongside Nellie Scott, Angel L. Piñeiro Jr., Victor Johnston, Tracy Pound, and John Tippett.

CompTIA, a nonprofit association, is a leading voice for the $5.2 trillion global information technology ecosystem. Each year, the CompTIA Member of the Year Award recognizes one member who has demonstrated outstanding service and impacts through his/her commitment, passion, professionalism, and leadership in assisting CompTIA as it advances the IT industry.

The CompTIA Tech Career Academy praised Hannah as an inspiration for any career-minded person, especially young women, in technology. Besides the Member of the Year Award, she has won the CompTIA Spotlight Award twice for her passion and dedication to the organization and the industry.

Hannah started her career as a sales representative at the age of 21, one month before graduating from Queen Mary University of London. Seven years later, she’s leading channel sales here at inSOC, a Los Angeles and Edinburgh-based global cybersecurity company that offers an AI-driven Open-XDR SOC-as-a-service solution to MSPs and MSSPs.

Based in the UK, Hannah is the vice-chair of the CompTIA UK Business Technology Community. She’s also an active member of the Advancing Tech Talent and Diversity Community, the Benelux Business Technology Community, and the Cybersecurity Community. She currently leads a cross-continent team of CompTIA volunteers to build a resource library to help MSPs grow their businesses cost-efficiently.

On receiving the prestigious CompTIA Member of the Year Award, Hannah said, “I am extremely honored and humbled to be awarded this accolade from CompTIA. I thoroughly enjoy contributing to the industry and giving back to the community within both the UK and the global forum. I attribute a lot of my success, growth, and continuing professional maturity to the support I have received from the CompTIA team and the opportunities I have received through my involvement with the organization. I cannot wait to continue my work with CompTIA and all that the future has to bring.”

Kristian Wright, COO of inSOC, and former Chair of the CompTIA UK Business Technology Community shared the excitement, “Having hired Hannah 7 years ago after her graduation, I’m thrilled to see what she has achieved within the Channel, as part of the inSOC team and within CompTIA in such a relatively short time. This award is testament to those achievements and thoroughly well deserved.”

We’re proud to have Hannah as one of our leaders and look forward to having her bring our turnkey cybersecurity solution to more MSPs and MSSPs worldwide.
